The attacker can then log in as any user or even as an administrator, gaining access to sensitive data.

How to Prevent SQL Injection Attacks?

Preventing SQL injection attacks requires a multi-layered approach, including secure coding practices, regular vulnerability scans, and user education. Here are some tips to help you prevent SQL injection attacks:

  1. Use Parameterized Queries: Use parameterized queries or prepared statements, where user input is treated as a parameter rather than being embedded directly in SQL statements.
  2. Sanitize User Input: Validate and sanitize all user input by removing special characters and symbols that could be used to inject malicious code.

can be add one example each for the methods also and solution using each methods with example codes—-attatching one such solution in python with postgresql code –

query = “SELECT * FROM users WHERE username = %s AND password = %s”
cur.execute(query, (username, password))—

and one or more methods are there like ORM using python–(doesnt know all languages have this )
